Canine Vaccinations:

Dogs:

At 8 weeks of age puppies should receive the Parvovirus and Distemper vaccinations every 3-4 weeks of age until 20 weeks of age, then receive an annual booster. Please consider adding Leptospirosis vaccination to your puppy’s vaccination schedule.

At 16 to 20 weeks of age puppies should receive their first Rabies vaccination, then receive an annual booster.

Depending on your puppy’s lifestyle you may want to consider the Bordetella vaccination.

Cats:

At 8 weeks of age kittens should receive the Feline Distemper vaccinations every 3-4 weeks until 20 weeks of age, then receive an annual booster.

At 16 to 20 weeks of age kittens should receive their first Rabies vaccination, then receive an annual booster.

Kittens can be tested for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) as early as 8 weeks of age and vaccinated against FeLV with 2 doses 3-4 weeks apart, then receive and annual booster.
